Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that is characterized by delusions, hallucinations, and other difficulties. It is reported to appear somewhere between late teens and early thirties, and it can be a lifelong struggle.

Approximately 1% of the world’s population is affected by this mental disorder.

This disorder commonly strikes during the youthful years between 16 and 30; though male victims show symptoms at a younger age than females. This disorder creeps into the individual so slowly that the person can’t detect. In contradiction, sometimes it may suddenly appear and rapidly progress.

Schizophrenia is a result of many other milder mental disorders compiled and surfacing as one. This mental disorder makes the patient dependent on others socially and financially because they are not able take care of themselves or retain any kind of jobs.

Mostly all patients go into denial and refuse taking any treatment, arguing that there is nothing wrong with them.

Below is a list of the major symptoms:
Thought disorder - jumping from one subject to another for no logical reason.

Other symptoms may include:
Lack of motivation - the patient loses their drive. Even daily routine, such as washing and cooking, are neglected.
Poor expression of emotions.
Social withdrawal - when a patient with schizophrenia withdraws socially, it is often because they believe somebody is going to harm them.
Cognitive difficulties - the patient's ability to concentrate, recall things, plan ahead, and to organize their life are affected.

Below is a list of the factors that are thought to contribute towards the onset of schizophrenia.

Genetic inheritance

If there is no history of schizophrenia in a family, the chances of developing it are less than 1 percent. However, that risk rises to 10 percent if a parent was diagnosed.

Chemical imbalance in the brain

Experts believe that an imbalance of dopamine, a neurotransmitter, is involved. This leads to stress.

It has to be clear that the symptoms are not due to any medicine or abuse of drugs.

The cure to schizophrenia is an involvement and combination of various factors. Antidepressant is advised by some doctors which may have its side effects too. Balance of mind needs to be practiced to lower stress levels which is most important.

In order to reduce stress and nervousness, meditation is the most effective method. Being in such a vulnerable situation, the patient finds it almost impossible to practice meditation.

A simple meditation like Nitaai Vibrations, with a very profound effect by the mere power of its sound, is strongly recommended. This particular form of sound therapy doesn’t require any external efforts and at the same time patients find it fun and enjoyable. It is not tiresome like many other meditation techniques.

Nitaai Vibrations doesn’t test one's patience and gives a very calming and soothing effect to the tensed nerves. It instantly brings steadiness to one's thoughts without any external effort. It brings a balance in the chemicals released by the brains.

There is no restrictions on where and in which posture one should do this in. This form of resonation of sound vibrations does not remove the object of the emotional pain, but helps one to release the negative feelings that arise, which may be as bad as suicidal, and makes one experience happiness.

It helps the patient to channelize his or her thought towards positivity which leads to contentment and ultimately helps them combat schizophrenia very effectively.
