How often do you get into a state of power? You know, when you are at work, and you feel like you are on fire. You are enjoying the work; you are feeling motivated, happy, exhilarated, enthusiastic. You are feeling good about what you are doing, even if that’s something you are not passionate about. It’s like suddenly your energies have synced, and you don’t care what work it is. You enjoy it, and you are in the moment.
When you are in your power zone, your strengths are aligned. Ryan Niemiec, Education Director at VIA Institute on Character, says “You’re stepping into the power zone when you are aligning all your strengths and using them for optimal benefit in meeting the demands of your job and achieving what matters most to you.”
You have diversified strengths that you can use at work. Your talents, skills, your interests and resources. Getting into the power zone means you are creating a complete synergy between you and your work and working with it to achieve breakthrough progress in life and work.
Also, when you are in the power zone, you access a state of mind called “Flow”. You suddenly stop worrying about everything around you. In positive psychology, flow is known as ‘The Zone’. It is a mental state of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in the feelings of energised focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. When in flow, a person is completely absorbed into what he’s doing. It also often results in loss of one’s sense of space and time.
Getting into the Flow
When you are out there working hard towards achieving your goal, you will have to be in the flow. You will have to make sure you are energized and wholly immersed in whatever you want to achieve. Once you reach the state of flow, the activity which was once a chore will become standard. The action that you once despised will become natural. But you can only get into the flow when you are feeling mindful, calm and relaxed. It is not so easy to achieve the state of flow though.
To get into the zone, you need to do something more than just focus. Concentration is not the key here. You will be able to focus once you get into the flow. The first step is thus energising yourself.
The Energizing Nitaai Sound
And what better way to charge your body’s batteries than Nitaai Breathing? Exhaling “Nitaaaai” will create subtle vibrations throughout your body. It will make you vibrate at a positive purse frequency. You will be feeling right, way before you even get started with your work. It will be easier to get into the flow because you will feel mindfulness and calmness taking over your mind and body.
The sound of Nitaai is itself a pure vibrating energy. When you repeat the Nitaai sound either by singing, dancing or exhaling, you become aware of yourself and the task you want to accomplish. The energy generated from these vibrations penetrate your being and help you get in the power zone. Nitaai Breathing is the best way to start achieving more. It’s is the best way to get into your power zone.
